Allison Adams, Health Educator with the Buffalo Trace District HD designed and distributed the booklet: "Folic Acid Hides on Your Supermarket Shelf-Find It!" This colorful booklet promotes both Mason County and Robertson County Health Centers and the WIC program. The booklet explains: "What is Folic Acid?" "Folic Acid is needed because…" "Good Food Sources for Folic Acid" and "How do you know the foods you choose contain Folic Acid?" Those last two topics entail two pages each-the first using the food pyramid, and the second showing various nutrition labels. This is an informative, eye-catching and elaborately well-done booklet! |
